I own a copy of Warlords 3 DLR and it's a great game, but one thing that annoys me about it is that the music is in CD audio format, and it'll only play either when the disc is in drive D, or when I have a cue/bin image of the disc mounted to a virtual drive with drive letter D assigned to it.

It's kind of a pain having to rearrange my drive letters just to hear the music in one game, so I run it in a virtual machine, but I would much rather have it running natively, as I understand it works just fine on XP and even Win7 with the WINCURSOR argument set.

Basically, I'm wondering if there's a patch that will allow me to rip the audio tracks to wav files and place them in the game's folder where the game will access them.

True enough. 🤣 I still think it would be better if I didn't have to though, because I've also noticed that the CD audio support is quite finicky and it won't work on certain systems.

EDIT: I just patched it with _inmm.dll, and it works great. 😁

also, I applied the 1.02 patch and no CD patch found here http://www.warlorders.com/warlords3-dlr/downloads
