Couple a days a go i bought a nice Turbo XT motherboard and there was a HD floppy drive 8-bit included..

Only the bad: Its missing its ROM chip for 1.44MB floppy disk / 1.2MB floppy disk support.. ( its easy to replace that)..

Iam also missing two ic socket IC chips.. I already searched by my self.. But i want it only know for sure if iam right..

Should those 2 chips be: Quadruple 2-Input Positive NOR Gates chips??

What does they do? And does it works the same like placing CMS chips?? Can it have the same number?
