This is my first time using dosbox and I followed a guide on how to launch games. I did everything right but when I launch doom 2 it says adding doom2.wad but its said that for over an hour. Does this take that long or is there some problem i need to fix?

I had Doom 2 in 5 floppy and Ive installed the game on C:\Doom2 and the game worked as usual.

Possible problem are

- Cracked/Illegal Download
- You didn't mount the right folder path
- One of the floppy (or CD if you use that version) has corrupted file
