DosBox and MSCDEX

Hi Guys,
I am not sure if this topic has been covered before, but I was wondering if anyone knew how to emulate or even GET AROUND using mscdex when playing dos games that use cd's in dosbox. I know you can mount the cd drives which is cool and all, but some games INSIST on finding mscdex running in the background and essentially crack it. 😢 And using mscdex is obviously not an option in W2K and XP operating systems.

Does anyone know how to handle Mscdex related issues in DosBox or if there is some command/fix which compensates for mscdex?

Anyone with any knowledge would be great,

Cheers,
Joey 😁

I thought -t cdrom did just that. Or rather just like FAKECD.

Indeed it does. And apparently someone hasn't done a search on the forums or they'd find SAPUCDEX.

Yes, it’s my fault.
