Hi all

This is my first post about having issues with a game, usually I figure anything, but actually dont have time, im on a retro LAN \ LPT party, so gotta be quick.

I cant run this game multi, cant sync the connections. Right now, im copying a win98 iso over the LPT, but the game cant find the PCs. No matter the baud setting, im unable to sort this out.

Any experience with this?

You need a Nullmodem cable with crossed Read/Write lines. I usually prefer to buy 1:1 cables and use a crossover adapter on one end which is more flexible.
You can test this previously with any terminal program (Hyperterminal f.e.) between two computers or between COM1 and COM2 of the same computer in a multitasking environment as Win.
If you established a connection type something on the keyboard and it should appear in the other terminal window and vice versa.

Typical settings are 8 databits, no parity, 1 stop bit - 8N1. If the computer has only 8250/16450 serial UART chips you should limit the speed to 19200 to prevent errors due to too slow reaction time for the PC. If the PC has 16550 UARTs 115200 baud is possible with enabled FIFOs.
