I have 2 486 boards here that almost looks the same..

One is called 486SLD (i think its and older version, and missing the VR on the board so 3 volt cpu shouldnt work without this VR. The color of this board is light green to yellow)

The other board is called 486 SLD / 486 SLP. ( i think is a newer version or so, and having a 4 leg VR on the board so i can use a 3 volt processor on it, color of the board is dark green)

I have looked for a sheet for it so it would easier to set it up with the processor i want to use.
I only found this:

http://www.stason.org/TULARC/pc/motherboards/ … ml#.UlHvRhAq53M It looks like both boards should made by chaintech.. But iam not really sure about that. Because there where enough manufacturers that made clones in that time the board has been made.

I have the dark green one working.. But i cant set it to 80mhz.. Because the processor is an AMD 486DX2- 80 Mhz.. Now the main problem is as followed:

There could be two different chips on the board to set the processor speed.. I dont know how does chips called.. But i looks like clock multiplier chips or so..

One that could be installed is the MX8315, i guess this one have to more options to set the speed i guess..
The other one that could installed is a MXIMISC466, this is more the bad version i guess..

Problem is, i dont know how to set it to 80Mhz with that IMI chip.. On the boards that i have, they only have the IMI ones on it..

If i look in to the data sheet i should only available to set the speed to: 25,33,50,50i,66i,75i,100i

Now i really like to know what they mean with that i in it? (i guess that i standing for intel??)
Is it possible to set it up for 80 mhz?? Or do i havent a very pleasent board here with limited settings?

~ At least it can do black and white~
