I have my heart set on playing Aces of the Pacific again, but I'm having many difficulties getting it to run, mainly due to my lack of knowledge and experience... 😵
I flipped when I saw your program, my old 386 (my last resort for getting it to run) died on me today, 🤣. I tried downloading it and running it on DOSBox, but it lacks sufficient memory. Do I need a bootdisk, and if so how would I use one in DOSBox? I tried creating one from the install menu on a different 'puter, but I got a fatal exception that gave me crap resembling the following: "FATAL EXCEPTION: something something 'bootneedmem' is missing due to lack of install.txt and install.ini", or something to that effect. Please forgive my ignorance, I'm very new to DOS. Any help would be awesome. 😁
