ALT+F12 in DOSBOX MB6

I run Paradox 4.0 database in DosBox Megabuild 6 under Windows 7 on a Dell with an Intel i7 processor and 8M of RAM (overkill, I know.) I have tweaked MB6 with the "processor, core, and cycles" settings in the .conf file as best as possible; however, the scripts I regulary ran still crawl compared to how it ran under Windows XP (before I needed DosBox.) I hear so much about the "turbo" mode (ALT+F12) but I can't seem to access it. I know I'm doing something wrong. I have attached my .conf file for your review. Can someone help?

MB6 is very old at this point. The latest SVN Daum build is usually recommended; it has all the features of MB6 and is much more up to date.

Also, running business-critical applications in DOSBox is generally regarded as a bad idea.

And this topic should be in the DOSBox subforum.
