I'm hoping to find a shader to blend the current frame with the prior, so I can get smoother output from Tran's Luminati and Ambience demos. I had tried performing the blending in VirtualDub after the fact, but since the demos don't output at 60FPS video frames don't oscillate as expected and the blending remains flickery.

Can DOSBox shaders (ie. as in DOSBox DAUM) reference prior frames? And if so, are there any such temporal shaders available?

I *think* gulikoza may have updated the shader support to allow for something like that, but not sure which build(s) it's been incorporated into, if any.
At least there was some talk of a 5151-like phosphor decay effect becoming possible, which I assume means blending previous frames.
