I've received the card today and tried to install it but to no avail.

P233MMX-based Win98SE system: the drivers are installed but upon Windows startup I've got 'Multisound hardware is not responding'.

486 DX2-50 Win 3.11 system: the drivers are installed, but any TB application says that drivers are not installed!

Either the card is DOA, or I'm stupid and can't figure out the right way of its setup.

Anybody with TB Multisound Classic experience?

I tried a Tahiti card once. It is the same thing but without the proteus synth (Because Creative Labs had bought EMU). And it failed to work on two different BX motherboards, but suddenly worked on a third Model. The Aopen AX6BC IIRC. There was a DOS test program for it, I never bothered with windows drivers.

The card was set up to a non-standard port (260h instead of 290h); when I changed that, the issue was resolved.
