I get this thing every time i install windows 95 on Vectra 5 XU.
Micro$oft solution is to disable some Northon thing i dont have.

What else can cause this?

Than i get: Windows Protection Error, you need to restart your computer.

I am installing over boot diskette.

Solved. Problem was Bad RAM... 😀
