My 7800gs agp VGA output has gone faulty. The red color is missing...
By testing all the smd components around it no clear fault was found but i can say that the red output is shorted to ground, hence the missing rgb red color. I'm unable to trace the red color pcb trace any further because at one point it sinks into one of the many pcb layers of the card, so my question would be if anyone knows where the vga signal is suposed to come from, if from any chip on the card or if from the gpu itself.

I know this is a bit tricky\geeky\techicnal and might very well be a lost case, but it think it's worth a try. I've paid good money for this card when it was new back in 2006 and it served me well over the years.
