Hi!

First: dosbox works great!:happyhappy:

Second: I get no music with this game. DSA1 is the cause I'm using dosbox, but I'm not quite familiar with it. However everything works smoothly except that I don't get the music that should be contained in the CD-version.

mem says I got 637KB of conventional memory left, which is way more than is needed for music (DSA needs - according to the manual - 608.000bytes of conv. mem for both music and sound effects).

I just get the sound effects.

Hope you can help me out! Hannes

I use mount d f:\ -t cdrom

but I tried mount d f:\ -t cdrom -usecd 0 too (in the autoexec.bat of DosBox).

The game says at startup that it initializes the cdrom & I hear a crackling noise in my headphones. Game starts thereafter.

I'm using WinXP & the winfrontend for the dosBox. Thanks for your reply, Hannes

Hi! Thanks for your replies, but this seems to be entirely my fault. I thought I had gotten the cd version of the game, but it was just a bad backup copy without the sound 🙁(.

Thanks, Hannes
