Is DOSBox for Macs a Universal binary?

I see on GOG that games under Mac say OS X 10.7 or higher required but the DOSBox wiki says it's compiled as a Universal Binary. If DOSBox for Mac is Universal Binary and runs on PPC Macs, why would 10.7 be required to play DOS games on GOG when PPC Macs can't run 10.7?

Still, it is usually possible to figure out the configuration in a GOG bundle, and run the game with a similarly configured vanilla DOSBox instead.
