Hello fellow vogons

I've been searching for such a long time for info on this old game I remember.
I'm hoping someone has played it too in the past/.

basically it's a sort of space shoot em up, kind of asteroids like , but the fun thing, would be that it scanned your hdd for Windows icons, and used them in game.
if I remember correctly you even had a mode where it would "steal" your icons, and you'd have to win them back in the game to have them show again in Windows.
You'd have races against other ships, had to shoot things, it was a really fun game. I'd love to play it again

Anyone ?

That would be Software Dynamics' "Operation: Inner Space"... still have my original installation floppies, manual, and such 😀

Nope, the game never had that specific feature.

P.S. IIRC, The game works fine under Windows XP (not sure about the newer versions of WinDoZe though, prolly won't run under a 64-bit OS).

Also, an FYI tidbit, Software Dynamics were the ones that created the original "After Dark" for Windows, as well as the original WinDoZe "Magic" screensaver.
