Is there a way to run Dig-It with sound ?

I downloaded the game Dig-It from www.the-underdogs.org but I cant run it. On Dosbox i get the a "Loader error 32: Invalid .exe Format" and when I try to run it with VDMSound I just get a black screen. When I start it normaly under Windows it works but I get no Sound and playing without sound sucks. Is there any way to get this game running ?

hotu usually "rips" larger games and removes any large wave files for less bandwidth use.

I forgotten to say, when I had Win98 it worked. But in WinXP most Dosgames doesn´t work with sound and VDMSound and Dosbox can´t run the game, at least with the default settings.
