Wouldn't that require a newer floppy controller than what a 5160 typically has?

I confirm that I already booted and used my 5160 with a 3.5 drive with the stock controller and 720k floppies.

I have a 5150 with a half-height HDD and 3.5" FDD sharing the right bay, and a full-height Tandon 5.25" floppy drive in the left bay.

I put the HDD at the bottom, then used some Meccano pieces (5x3 plate pieces IIRC) to act as little brackets for the FDD adaptor bracket.

With the lid off it looks totally hacky, but from the outside you couldn't tell the difference. 😀
