For past few days i was trying to install heroes of might and magic 3 on win 95 and 98 intalled trough dosbox, but i had no luck 😒
So i came here to ask u professionals with dosbox if it would be possible to make it work?
And if it is , will it be able to run it also on iDos (dosbox for iOS) ?
You might get it to work through special Dosbox builts, namely Dosbox-x.
IDos won't work.
I rly wanted heroes 3 on iPad 😒 i think i only can hope someone will finaly port the best game ever in whole world on ios.
I play it in Windows 7 just fine with the HD mod.
Look at this page (found on the wikipedia, via List of game engine recreations).
It seems that they're working on an adaptation of Heroes III, and they've got some packages for Windows and Linux. It works with SDL2, so it seems that it could be ported to Android/iOS... but I guess that it would need some work before being usable.
EDIT: It seems that there is already a released package on Google Play.

Windows 9x as a guest isn't support on DOSBox nor does official DOSBox support android.
Played the original Heroes 3 on a PC the way it's meant to be played.
