Is the IDE port on a Soundblaster AWE32 compatible with Zip 250 drives and early (1997) DVD-rom drives? It does work with any cd-rom drive though. Also if I were to jumper my zip drive as a slave to my dvd master drive, will there be any performance impacts? I think having another IDE drive attatched to the same IDE cable as a hard drive will affect performance.
