Hello !
I have installed DosBox on a PC Windows 7 64 bits. I use it for an very old software "MuMath 83" (programming mathematics) and I am very glad. It is all right.
But I cannot use of my numeric keybooard and it is not easy for calculations. Virtual keyboard is not useful for writing numbers.
I know that DosBox is for old games, but my request is perhaps easy to solve.

It is a bug with DOSBox 0.74. If you tap the Num lock key a couple of times you should be able to get it working. This has been fixed it the developmental build.

As you note, DOSBox is targeted at games and as such has taken some shortcuts in the coding for performance sake. These usually don't break games, but because of it, it might cause errors. It is also missing support for some things that many applications need, like share. So, keep in mind that DOSBox should never be used for any mission critical application.
