Alright, I have replaced my main card (Nvidia Geforce4 MX 420) with the Voodoo 3 2000. And I am going to tell about my experience with it.
First of all I tested Blood. The game runs at about a 10-20 frame-rate hit at sometimes compared to the Nvidia. But at sometimes the game runs better with the 3DFX patch. Such as looking at windows from a certain distance. Even without the 3DFX patch, the frames drop 10-20 also. And the 3DFX patch runs perfect also, apart from the bugs that comes with the Alpha patch. I haven't crashed yet. The game overall was smoother with the Nvidia card I mentioned earlier.
I have also tested Quake which also runs at a lower frame-rate. I haven't tested the frame drop with Quake yet. I am running at a 800x600 resolution in Quake and a 640x480 in Blood. Quake also runs perfect. Quake looks more vibrant with the 3DFX card.
When I get some more games that support Glide. I will report back.

Geforce 4 MX 420 is quite a bit faster then Voodoo 3 - atleast 50% faster. Voodoo 3 is recommended for games upto 2000/2001. PCI version is nice because you can put it into any PCI system from 486 and newer.

Visit my AmiBay items for sale (updated: 2025-03-14). I also take requests 😉

Yeah, again. I really only played those 2 games so far with it. Just testing games to there non-3dfx counter part.
