Dear Sirs,
Recently, I installed DOSBox and found that sometimes keys are "beating eaten" by the system. I then tried a "clean DOS" boot in order to feel the difference, and this is my resume:
[Under clear DOS]
- When I press any button (say, "1") it types "1" and then started to autorepeat the key ("1111111").
- If I then presss the second button (say, "2") without releasing the first key, it types "2" and then started to autorepeat the key ("11111112222").
- If I then release the first key, it keeps repeating the second key ("111111122222222222222222222222").
[Under DOSBox]
- When I press any button (say, "1") it types "1" and then started to autorepeat the key ("1111111").
- If I then presss the second button (say, "2") without releasing the first key, it types "2" and then started to autorepeat the key ("11111112222").
- If I then release the first key, it STOPS repeating the second key ("11111112222").
This is very inconvenient, as it requires me to release the first key each time before I press the second key. My "late releasing" of the first key simply kills the sequence provided by the second key whils under clear DOS (the same PC) the second key keeps aurorepeat.
I tried to find a configuration option for this but in vain.
How can it be resolved?
Yours sincerely,
Dennis
