I tested three different versions of this game. An Abandonware version should be patched for the 3 button mouse check. After the splash screen appear i get garbage on the screen.Then i tested the version from Bestseller Games Special Issue 1 and the World of Sports. One of them have a dialogue for changing graphic mode and sound(WoS) and both doesn't required this patch linked in dosbox comment of this game.
After i starting the game i dont get a splash screen, only garbage on the screen but i can see the menu boxes. But the compat. chart says supported.

Abandonware is not supported here.

So what does that mean? Is the app supported when the app cannot be started because of a bug? I tested three version no one runs.

That means (at least) that they don't know (and don't care) about any modification made on the games before releasing as abandonware on a web. That game may be corrupt, have virus, been hacked, have modifications made by klingons to drive you mad or anything else. DOSBox programmers will only take account of bugs that actually happen on unmodified games, not in games hacked by anyone.

Also, it means that they do not approve the use of abandonware, as it is illegal software. DOSBox is offered to play your own old games, not pirated games. Abandonware is simply not allowed in this forum, maybe you can try on the same site where you downloaded that game.
