I have an FIC Pt-2200 socket 7 mobo and I have a 8.4gb hard drive as my primary master, no primary slave, Secondary master is a dvd-rom drive, and secondary slave is a zip 250 drive. When the zip drive is removed, the pc boots from cd normally. but when i have the zip drive attatched and have the bios setting to boot from cd first, the boot hangs and nothing else happens. I try auto detect of the zip drive in the bios but the bios can't find it. When I select boot from hard drive first, the pc boots. The bios is from 1996. Does it not support zip drives? Are there zip drive parameters I can type in the bios? What to do...

Do you have all the jumpers set correctly? (If your hard drive has a "Master with No Slave Present" jumper setting, be sure to use that. Also, don't use Cable Select.)
