As the title says... I lift the lever up and there is almost no movement of the upper area of the socket. The lever goes up quite "heavy" and even if slowly lifted to the end the socket won't loosen 😕 I tried several times and nothing. Don't want to break anything 😲

Any tips?

Lift lever + use monkey wrench on the socket and wiggle it around?

I dont' have a monkey wrench at hand. But I don't think there is enough space around the socket to get a grip.

Anyway... I lifted the lever to the end and got the CPU out quite easily. The sliding part of the Socket moves about a 0.3mm when the lever is up. I guess it's enough to insert and remove the CPU.

Actually watching the socket while moving the lever reveals that only the inside of the socket moves about 2mm in each direction, while the outside looks like it's stuck and moves just about a small part of mm. Inner part works, outer part doesn't.

Now onto fixing the keyboard connector line on the backside of the board.
