Hello guys recently I went to install a Etherlink 10/100 Network card into my windows 98SE computer but I made a mistake and I grabbed the wrong diskette so I halfway installed the wrong drivers before realizing my mistake and cancelling it. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to have cleaned up things nicely because when I rebooted the PC it came up with this message before loading windows.

Cannot find a device file that may be needed to run Windows or a Windows application.
The Windows Registry or SYSTEM.INI file refers to this device file but the device file no longer exists. If you deleted it on purpose try uninstalling the associated application using it's install or setup program.
If you still want to use the application associated with this device file, try reinstalling that application to replace the missing file.

vnetsup.vxd
vredir.vxd
dfs.vxd
vserver.vxd

Then when it actually boots into windows I get this error message:

Unable to load the dynamic link library:
msnp32.dll
The system cannot find the file specified.
Some or all of the features is not available:
Microsoft Network

So what I'm wondering is there an easy way to clean up this now that I have the card properly installed?

You could try removing the network card driver and the protocols (including the MS Network client) and adding them back.
Maybe SFC could help too
