It's one thing that's seemingly hard to transfer and 'back up' 🙁

Win98 particularly, since saving gradient colors does not seem to be a feature part of its Plus! implementaiton.

also i swore there was a tool here that did this but can't find it

Been looking for the same for quite some time..

Out of curiosity, aren't color schemes stored as Dword keys on Windows' registry?
