Hi guys, because i want to recap my SCC-1 (and other stuff) i made myself a recap plan.
I took a decent picture of the card and laid a grid over it with a GIMP script i wrote.
And made the list down below.
A bonus with those gridded pictures is that others can explain show stuff like dunno sound comes out of D;E/19. 😉
I don't know if you like the idea or maybe it's plain stupid, but here is my SCC-1A recap plan.
I hope the Idea catches on to have a database for this.

4x 47µF 16V

I double checked the list, but my eyes aren't the best anymore, perhaps someone could verify the data.
Also i don't know how many board revisions there were from the card that's why i added all the stuff written on the card.

I would start with junk cards like modems / generic sound cards before risking a SCC-1A failure.

1+ Practice can do a lot, if you will succeed or fail.. Its definitely recommend to have bunch of usefull tools in front of you on your work table.

I also would recommend to try it on cards that are easy to get / arent that rare..
Also you have to learn how to cope with a soldering iron.. And how you easilly can remove those old capacitor without damaging the printed circuit board..

~ At least it can do black and white~

It's not about solder skills (i have plenty though 😀)
Just to have a Plan if others want to do this and they forgot what direction a cap goes or want the list to order parts etc.
I don't think that someone without any solder skills should do this 😉
Just to have a nice gridded picture and parts(maybe list all parts not only the caps) list for reference.
