Hi all,

I'm trying to run GTA on dosbox 0.74 and I do manage to play it for a little while (30 to 40 seconds), but then the dosbox just crashes and gives me as output (on a terminal emulator) a "segmentation fault" message.
I don't know if that matters, but I'm using linux within Fedora 20.
The laptop has an AMD C-70 CPU and the GPU is a Radeon HD 7290.

The obvious question is: are you able to run any other games in DOSBox without problems? And has this laptop been behaving well otherwise?

Sometimes defective hardware only causes problems when unusually demanding applications are run.
