So I recently acquired a Gateway 2000 P5 120, I get an error saying "CMOS Battery Failed" So how would I remove the battery and where would I buy a replacement?

You should be able to get a CR232 just about anywhere. They are REALLY easy to find, and any PC/eletronics shop should have it. Also, I don't see anything exotic about the battery holder, taking it out should be simple enough, you might just need something like a very small screwdriver to help you remove it. There usually is a small "locking mechanism" you have to pull/pry to get it off... I'd guess it's that bigger thing above the 3V text on the battery.

Those do nothing, or I cant do nothing. Any other way of removing it?
I'd just pry the battery with a small screwdriver... maybe while bending those plastic "locks". Just make sure you're not in a hurry or putting too much force. Last thing you want is for the screwdriver to slip and scratch something.
hmm , the board might not actually use a CR232 battery, the Gateway board I have (though I think mine came from a P166 machine) uses a Rayovac BR2335 battery like this one

this board might be the same.
I have the Gateway P5-75. It uses a CR232. It's very easy to remove.. I thiiink you have to push on one side of the battery with a screwdrive to slide and pop it out from under a little shelf that holds it down. It's simple, anyway.
Edit: Scratch that.. I'm not 100% sure. I assumed the Rayovac wasn't a coin shaped battery without checking that link first. I'm fairly sure I replaced it with a CR232, though, and it works..

It is a CR232, any idea where I can obtain one?
Would this work? http://www.ebay.com/itm/151388039952 (5 pack)
Yes, these are fine, but you can also find this in any PC and eletronics store in the world. These batteries are very common... I wouldn't be surprised to find them in a supermarket or something like that.
Usually around $5 in any pharmacy or supermarket type of store.
Main pc: Asus ROG 17. R9 5900HX, RTX 3070m, 16gb ddr4 3200, 1tb NVME.
Retro PC: Soyo P4S Dragon, 3gb ddr 266, 120gb Maxtor, Geforce Fx 5950 Ultra, SB Live! 5.1
Also, unrelated but is there a way to stop the front from coming off? Because the 2\4 plastic things that held the front cover to the case are gone and 1 of those two are detached. Could I just glue one of the plastic thing to its original spot?
If you still have them, I think it should be okay. But you'll need some strong glue (like epoxy glue) or else it won't hold for long.
