So I have a tower that has two floppy drives (3.5 and 5.25), and then a USB 1000 floppy emulator drive in it. Its getting to be a BIG PAIN switching around the cables between all three floppy drives.

Has anyone ever tried something like this (2/3rd the way down): http://www.seasip.info/VintagePC/floppies.html

Basically taking the active floppy line of the cable and making it switchable for two of the drives (Drive A, switch Drive A preferable).

If no one has, I might risk a few floppy drives and controller.

I'd feel more confortable adding another controller, or replacing the 3.5" drive with na IDE LS120 one...
Also, if you can find a switch with two "lines" I'd try switching both the drive select and motor lines.

I've used computers with standard 4 drive shugart busses before (actually soldered them myself) - so why not?
