So, I never thinked ABUSE had music, but once I saw a gameplay video with music I think it was a fake thing, but then I was searching on the configs file and I saw some midi config, and that's weird since on setup there's no midi settings.

The searching started, I found a SDL abuse over modb that had an extra folder called "MUSIC" on it, and there was some .hmi music files, but I couldn't hear it over windows 8, I think the file is too old for a new os 😖...

So the thing is, why the dos version hadn't the MUSIC folder on it and there wasn't a midi config over setup.exe? and since I wish I could play it with the midi files on dos version, what would be the config to play on an adlib or general midi compatible card?

Thanks for the repply, I didn't knew there was a newest dos version, but, I guess almost websites (including abandonia) host the older version because the midi files kinda sux, I think it would be better played over opl3, but there's only MPU-403 and others on the same type to select '-'...

Anyway, thanks for finding me a file with the new version, it's just bad that I can't set an adlib like midi card

I only recently learned Abuse actually had music by watching a video of the Amiga version

all those years ago I've never heard music either, in either 1995 or 1996 version

Never played the SDL ports or any other non-DOS Version.

I ported the SDL version to the Wii a couple years ago for the heck of it, and I think it used timidity or something (non-soundfont based) for MIDI music.
