Hello. I'm currently writing RIVA 128 emulation for PCem. Right now, I am attempting to ascertain the function of CRTC register 38h, and I've written a basic test program that I hope will shed light on what it does. Can somebody with a RIVA 128 please run this program and give me a picture of what you see?

just tried it with my p200mmx/r128zx build, it does not show anything... it clears the screen and just quits to the prompt

Interesting. Try running this one. I'm trying to see if it's a screen clear, screen disable, or linear framebuffer bit.

If it's a screen clear, then an A will show up on the screen.

just tried that, it clears the screen and I get an "A"
