As we already have a "Guess the game" thread, I thought I should make a guess the hardware thread.
The rules are largely similar to the guess the game thread, they are as follows:
1) A new piece of hardware cannot be introduced until the previous one has been guessed.
2) The first person to guess the hardware gets to post the next piece of hardware. If that person hasn't posted a new device or hardware within 12 hours, then the privledge goes to the person who took the first guess. If that person doesn't post a new piece of retro hardware within the following 12 hours, then it goes to the next person in line etc..
3) Only a single image can be used.
4) Don't provide images using a URL as the hardware will most likely be in the web address giving the device away.
5) Due to everyone here at Vogons living in different parts of the world, our timezones are obviously different which means there could be a delay in the confirmation of a device. Please confirm if a guess is correct within 12 hours if possible.
6) If a week has gone by and no one is able to guess the hardware, the current winner of the device must provide a new device to guess.
7) Retro applies to only 2000 and lower.
8.) If multiple pieces of hardware are in a picture, please state the kind of hardware that needs to be guessed.
9) Use the smallest images possible while still being able to see the details of the hardware.
I'll go first.
The part that needs to be guessed is the motherboard.
