Not even close... I never understand how so many confuse Japanese with Chinese. Japan doesn't use Han characters in everything.

This is basically the Chinese version of Cortana, and it's about as censored and monitored as every other China search engine as far as I know.

It is offensive in the same way that Mickey Rooney's performance in "Breakfast at Tiffany's" was offensive. They are offensive in the same way the Redskins mascot is offensive. His further comments about LGBT folks aren't funny either; it is mean-spirited bigotry and inappropriate here. Comments like Lo Wang's make people feel uncomfortable and unwelcome, myself included.

I actually really don't understand the whole massively different skin to Cortana for Chinese residents. Especially what with how they try to make that icon look like a face.
