When tapping the Dosbox icon the installation starts but initial screen does not stay for more than a second; in Windows 7 PC there was no problem, however in my new Toshiba Encore 2 tablet it has been impossible. Help please!!
You should ask DOSBox questions in the DOSBox forum. A mod might be so kind to move it for you. That said, perhaps your security software is interfering.

maybe you need to change the output value in dosbox.conf.
I'm not sure if this refers to installation or to the actual running of DOSBox, but DOSBox (or more specifically the older version of SDL used by DOSBox) is known to have problems with tablets. The easiest solution is to plug in a mouse.
You should be able to find other threads about the issue by searching for "tablet".

I take it that he means installation. If he is having problems with the installer he can use 7-zip to unpack it and bypass the installer.
