I'm trying to get Sound Blaster Audigy to work in DOS mode on Windows 98 computer.

When sbeinit.exe in executed from autoexec.bat, then I get following error:

1Error: Config file is incomplete.
2SBPort
3Creative SB16 Emulation Driver NOT Loading.

If someone has experienced this before, what is the reason? I have tried to reinstall drivers, but still not working.

Had a look at the CTSYN.INI file? Should be where the "SET CTSYN" in AUTOEXEC.BAT points to.

My working CTSYN.INI that I'm using on an Audigy 2 ZS:

I didn't even have that CTSYN.INI file. I have to check again why it is missing.
