Getting Uprising to work on a Voodoo 2 or Banshee

Hi guys. Has anyone gotten Uprising (1) to work on anything other than a Voodoo 1? I can run it on my P166 / Voodoo 1 rig, but it freezes while loading levels on Voodoo 2, Voodoo 3 or Banshee cards. Performance is lackluster on a Voodoo 1 and I was hoping to play it on a faster system.

Does running from a batch file setting the compatibility environment variables help? This gets Pandemonium running (though the game doesn't appear to have a FPS limiter, so it runs too fast)

Well, Uprising works with my Voodoo2 WinXpSp3 setup.
You must patch the game to 1.04/1.05 version.
And there are standard troubles: Training missions menu crash/freeze (to fix: run campaign mission, quit campaign then start training) and Help font size (to fix: set desktop to 8 bpp and even after this the message is garbled).
I don't have Win9x PC so can't test. Maybe later.

I have the 1.04 version and it hangs when loading missions on anything other then a voodoo 1... I'll try 1.05.

does anyone have a link to the latest uprising patches? Google only seems to bring up dead links.
