Hello, I would like to know if there is any method to activate VSYNC on DOSBox. I am playing a game, SIDELINE, but unfortunately I see a lot of screen tearing, I added a VSYNC feature on DOSBox configuration file, I was adjusting the VSYNC: of, on, host, etc., and nothing happens when I play the game, I really hate screen tearing. I also tried DOSBox SVN DAUM and I had no results, same thing like before, please help me.

Thank you
Roberto

I am still getting the screen tearing and sounds skips a lot as well, I ran it on VGA at 70 Hz. Nothing changed.

The game appears to use 320x240, wich should be 60 Hz wich is standard for LCD. So it looks as other problem. I tryed it to run and did not notice tearings. Either they are few, or not at the game's beginning to check.

I am playing the game with 60 Hz, on my TV or monitor and I am still getting tearings, that's on the regular DOSBox, but on DOSBox SVN Daum I don't get any tearing but takes more time to load game. Also when I start stages sounds skips at the beginning of each stage.

Regular DOSBox have not been updated for 5 years. You may try newer SVN. Also you may experiment with output= parameter in config, aspect=false, scaler= and other render parameters. While longer time to load a level is not a significant problem at all.

I'm gonna keep trying, my only problems with the Regular DOSBox it's just the vsync, I have no problems with loading time and sound, on the SVN I get vsync, but sound skipping and I just try the game in other output and hand up.
