Is it AT or ATX? Have you tested it with another PSU?
i dont have another psu of the type, it does light up but no activity, maybe new cmos?
Most probably dead power supply (i'm 90% sure). If there was no bang when you turned it on, it's likely the mosfet on the 5V rail died.
Nope, no bang from the psu, oh, shoot.
We can't read your mind let alone want to and it is most likely a bad psu, AT power supplies while getting harder to find are still around as new old stock and also used at fair prices. Stuff gets old and will either go out with a bang or a whimper.
On a far away planet reading your posts in the year 10,191.
Find another PSU and retest the PC.
If you do go ahead and decide to replace the PSU, I'd recommend getting one of these. They're cheaper than most AT PSUs you'll find on eBay.

its one of those types of the single power plug model and the small like half the size of a regulare 486 supply-
uh, oh, the psu dont have a name on it, its one of those really small ones that will make it look like a block of metal-
Might be a propriatary design or a SFX form factor. Single power connector with two rows of pins indicates an ATX power supply. Post a few pictures of the PSU and it's connector if you want more help.
I had some trouble signing on at first but it works now http://www.mediafire.com/view/2rslknz1c60xx18/IMAG0041.jpg#
