Not exactly. You may look for XTIDE and similar cards. Those cards have their own BIOS and allows to connect IDE peripherals to any PC.
There are some CF to IDE and SD to IDE adaptors that you could connect to a "pure" XTIDE card... because you may find some cards based on XTIDE that have CF or SD slots instead IDE connectors.
Also, keep in mind that your XT machines will be probably running version 3 of MS-DOS. That version will allow to format partitions up to 32 Mb (except Compaq MS-DOS 3.31A, that can format up to 2Gb), so a card bigger than that would be probably a waste of space (unless you don't have such a small card).
