So I have the Compaq CDS 520 which is an all-in-one unit. It has on-board graphics which is a Cirrus Logic GD5424 with 512 kB RAM. I have upgraded the system to a 486 DX4 100 using an overdrive. Games like Blood and Duke Nuke Em require that I run them at the lowest resolution in order to get a good frame rate. If I put them at 640 x 480 or 800 x 600 the frame rate is too poor to be usable. I was tinkering the other day and found that when I add an ISA graphics card to the motherboard the computer will disable the built in monitor and I can connect another monitor to the new card. This would be useful for running games at a higher resolution if there was an ISA card I could put in there that would help me run them.
Is there an ISA graphics card available that could help me to do this?
