Not entirely sure where to post this as it's likely more a general Windows 3.1 than a DOSBox question, but does anyone know if it is possible to send MIDI directly to a GM hardware module like a Sound Canvas to get 'better' MIDI in Windows 3.11? I followed Dominus' Windows 3.11 installation guide, but that ends up with MIDI over the emulated SB16 device.

(*Sound Canvas via UM-One already working in DOSBox itself by the way)

In the Win3 Control Panel, MIDI Mapper, change to the external MIDI option. If you don't have one for some reason, then create one that maps all channels to external.
