Hi all...
Have been playing around with my FIC board, and for the most part, I am confident on what I am doing.
The biggest issue I have, is the PCI setting menu in the BIOS. As there are something I dont know.

Can someone give me an explenation on what the Menu-Items are?
Something called IRQ MAPPING, and stuff like the waitstate's.
And stuff like how the rest of the setting's would affect the use of the machine.
I know this is a really broad question. Just that I can't seem to find a way on how
to google the right answers. (Boy do I feel stupid)

The manual seems to be missing the BIOS setup part, so I am a bit in the dark here.
What really made me look in the setting's for the PCI parts are finetuning in order to get dos games
going with a PCI-Card. As the VL-Bus card that I have, are beginning to artifact vertically.
And yeah... PCI setup are tricky on this board, as far as I have been paying attention.

Eighter I am not doing it right, or I really do not have the "right" PCI cards.

Set all PCI WS to 0, set CPU-PCI write buffer to enabled, set assign IRQ by EDGE (default should be LEVEL) and that should do it. Not as fast as an UMC chipset so you won't be playing duke3d at 640x480 on it, but it runs VGA modes perfectly. I used an S3 trio 64 and it was quite a bit faster then my VLB cards.

Thanks. I will try that tomorrow. What about the other 3 options in the right side of that bios setup section?
Can't remember what they are called right now. Should they be disabled?

What are the IRQ Mode by the way? What should I set it to?
I have no clue on what it is. It is set to something named transparent or something like that at the moment.
And should I assign the int-a/b/c/d to the same irq as the card has in the top left section?
