hi there!
i'm new to dosbox and experience problems mounting my floppy drive as such!
i use the mount a a: -t floppy command (i tried either boxer and dos-box prompt) to mount my drive but dos-box keeps mounting the drive as a local directory which keeps me from installing (and running) my dos games!
if you can help please do!
thx!!!!

I always mount it with backslash included:

mount a a:\ -t floppy

Works for me.

doesn't work (see above) any other suggestions?

try to use a regular slash instead of a backslash.
something to do with keyboard layout could cause this problem.

... // bda. very bda!
... // but only if you turn godo into csah.

tried that, didn't work out 😢
i use bosbox anyway, so the layout is (or should be 😁 ) no problem!
any other ideas? 😕
