Hi all,

I'm trying to go through this forum in order to program a Motorola Spectra radio. The version of Motorola RSS I am using is R04.05.01 from 01-MAR-95. I seem to notice that if I use the ocbus build for Dosbox 0.65 I manage to communicate with the radio to a much better extent than with any other patch or release I could find here. I actually managed to have the communication test report back "Radio Communications OK". Attached is my config file. I was wondering if anyone managed to find any solution to have this software work with dosbox or at the very least if I could have the "ocbus" patch file (for now I only have the compiled version) so that I could recompile my own version and hopefully debug what is going on with the serial port.

Thank you!

I wouldn't use DOSBOX for this purpose. Have a look at some of the virtualization solutions to see which allow COM port passthrough.

All hail the Great Capacitor Brand Finder

Do you know if the patch that introduced ocbus is available somewhere? I would prefer compiling this the option enabled and going on my own if possible.
