i have 2 systems

system 1 windows xp and a program thats based on DOS. this program can be run on other windows system just need to share the program folder.

system 2 ubuntu mate.

i have installed dosbox on system2 and also shared program folder from system 1. i can access that folder from system 2 under network. but i can't find any way to use dosbox in that directory. how can i run dosbox in that directory that i have shared.

This is all covered in the DOSBox documentation. I recommend that you peruse that.

To summarize, for a shared folder mounted in /media/shared, the command to access that folder is

mount x /media/shared

This command can be executed in a DOSBox window or through the autoexec portion of your DOSBox conf file. X can be any unused drive letter which can then be accessed as you would in DOS.
