Hello!

Sorry if this has been asked before, just give me the link to the relevant thread. I have installed Windows 3.0 within DosBox and I have two problems. The first is that it runs OK in Real Mode (Win /r) and in Standard Mode (Win /s). When I try to run it in 386 Enhanced Mode (Win /3) the mouse doesn't respond, but I can control Windows using the keyboard. What's going on? I have selected Microsoft Mouse in the setup.

The other problem is that I cannot have any 256 color resolution. When I change to s3_vga and a mode such as 640x480 256 colors or higher, I only see a black screen instead of the desktop. I have downloaded the latest Windows 3.x drivers for S3 VGA, so it must be some setting in DosBox I have to change. Any ideas? If I change the VGA type to Paradise VGA and then use the Paradise VGA drivers in Windows Setup, I can have 640x400 256 colors, but not all DOS games work with these settings, so I would rather use the S3 VGA if possible.

How do I enable multimedia (sound etc) in Windows 3.0 by they way? Is that possible, or I must upgrade to Windows 3.1?
