I got Discworld 2 to run with VDMSound reasonably well. There is still some nasty audio skipping, even with the CDs copied to .iso images and mounted with VirtualCD (only works with low-level CD support, whether I use VirtualCD or the real CDs). That's all livable, though-- what's not livable is that when you exit the game, my windows desktop is horribly corrupted. Everything seems to work, you just can't *see* anything.

I'm using an Athlon XP 2000+ on a KT-400 motherboard, with a Radeon 9500 Pro and generic Realtek motherboard sound chips. I have a Lite-On 40X CD-RW. The only non-default setting I'm using in VDMSound is low-level CD support, which seemed to be required to get the game to find its CD.

Is there something I'm doing wrong that would cause video corruption on exit?

Do you the latest Catalyst drivers? (4.3)
That was a known problem with the older Catalyst versions, but in the newer releases this problem should have been solved.
