I have tried for months to get Full Throttle to work with Windows XP and downloaded Dosbox, VDM sound and ScummVM. Today I got it working for the first time with VDM sound then got tips on this site to also get Q&E VDM sound to fix the static and glitch. Now the game works almost perfectly except for a few minor annoyances.

1)Once in a while, the game will pause, and then continue a second or two later. For example Ben will just pause in his speech and the game looks like it is frozen but it continues on a second or two later.
2)The sound is not crystal clear. It sounds nice but in the background you can hear a slight distortion, kind of like if you turned your volume on your speakers really high

Again these are really minor and I am happy to be able to play it how it is right now but I would be even happier if somebody knew how to fix these two problems in order to make the game run perfect.
